The LANSAS\u00a0\u00a0Multi-Size Back and Front Pipe Plugs are the most durable Multi-Size Pipe Plugs available today.\u00a0 The unique designs of these plugs are covered under two U.S. patents making them the most durable and reliable in the industry.\u00a0 The first patent relates to the 2-plys of cross-biased tire cord reinforcement (more on larger sizes) built in each plug.\u00a0 This design feature allows for controlled expansion of the plug.\u00a0 As the plug inflates, it gets larger in diameter and shorter in length.\u00a0 By changing the shape of the plug, the side-wall stress is kept to a minimum.\u00a0 This feature also eliminates the longitudinal tearing (end to end) found in plugs made by other manufacturers.<\/p>\n

\u00a0The second patent covers our superior end design.\u00a0\u00a0 Each end of the plug is reinforced with steel a \u201cSpider-Ring\u2122\u201d wrapped in cord reinforced fabric.\u00a0 The fabric extends from the \u201cSpider-Ring\u2122\u201d into the body of the plug.\u00a0 This advanced design transfers the stress of inflation from the steel base plate to the fabric reinforced \u201cSpider-Ring\u2122\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u00a0These designs, along with the highest quality materials create a line of pipe plugs that are as much as 50% lighter and substantially more flexible than our competitors.<\/p>\n

\u00a0LANSAS\u00a0\u00a0Multi-Size Back and Front Pipe Plugs are manufactured and stocked with our standard ozone protected natural rubber outer layer.\u00a0 They are also available with a nitrile or neoprene layer as well as stainless steel end plates and fittings for use in chemical and petroleum applications.<\/p>\n

The 050 Series Multi-Size Back Plugs are designed with lifting eye(s) on both end(s) and a 1\/4\u2033 inflation port.\u00a0 Larger sizes have a secondary 1\/2\u2033 inflation port.\u00a0 The 051 Series Multi-Size Front Plugs are equipped like the Back Plug; however, they also include 1\/4\u2033 and 3\/4\u2033 Test Thru or Bypass ports for air testing and pressure monitoring.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
